A BIT ABOUT ME
Hi! I am a qualified Occupational Therapist, working in the field of Paediatrics.
My journey of finding OT started in my gap year in 2014, where I had the privilege of shadowing an amazing OT at a nearby hospital.
I knew that it was the profession for me, as it encompassed all of my favourite things - learning about the masterpiece God created - the human body, being creative, especially when making assistive devices and best of all working with children!
After completing my community service year on the sunny South Coast at Turton CHC, I had the honor of working for Monique Davies at Grow OT in Durban, where my love for paediatric OT grew in leaps and bounds. Being able to support a child’s ability to participate in important and meaningful activities through fun and creative interventions is such a privilege.
To name a few, I am passionate about school based OT, ASD, and understanding the intricacies of gross and fine motor development in children. I experience a revelation of my calling each day when I see children grow and reach their potential.
